How is progress on the beta? Am eagerly awaiting this functionality - the main reason I bought my tellstick live.

Are there any apps available making use of the Telldus Live Events API yet or are there any plans to open up the API to the wider community?

It seems they must have encountered some major issues.

Looks like I'm going to have to relent and go and buy the alternative from RFXlan, the bonus is that it supports more devices too.

Just for the record, the Live API supports Events already, for third parties to use.

Events are up and running for a few beta testers. It's still lacking a good-looking interface on Telldus Live! and some more minor functions/settings should be added. And we'll probably not add this functionality to everyone at once either, so that we can scale server capacity as needed. How long all this will take depends on which issues we encounter on the way.

that is not nice at all... not to mention it takes forever [time] to see a change in Telldus software

Perhaps Telldus should be more active on their Facebook and homepage, and announcing new and upcoming features and beta test invitations. I guess not all users find their way to the blog.
