When I push the TX button on the back the tellstick.net lights up like it's xmas, but nothing to see in my sensor list.

Updating this old thread because these sensors are available quite cheap now.
The documentation for the thermometer (36-4741) claims that the sensor (36-4744) is a "YT6981 EX" whatever that is.
This sensor is probably not supported, see this ticket: http://developer.telldus.se/ticket/182
