Can't modify devices list in Telldus GUI 2.1.1

Hi,

I managed to install the Telldus Core & GUI 2.1.1 in KDE4 on a FreeBSD 9 machine and get it up and running. The initial devices are read from the file /etc/tellstick.conf.
However, if I try to add, update or remove any devices in the device list in the GUI nothing happens and I don't get any error messages. I've tried to manually modify the tellstick.conf file, but that doesn't help either (even after reinstalling the app). The device list in the GUI is not changing. Are you able to give me any advice on where I could start my troubleshooting? (e.g. where the device list is stored after installing the GUI - maybe something is write protected)

Check the permissions on /etc/tellstick.conf.

Also, how do you start telldusd? As a regular user or as root?
