Hi,
I realize this is a bit of a strange inquiry, but I thought this forum would be the best place to find an answer.
I recently purchased this item for my girlfriend: http://www.ohmibod.com/wireless-vibrators/club-vibe.php. I'll be away from her for some time soon, and was hoping to find a way to use the same remote functions from a long distance away (i.e., cross-country). The remote functions at 433.92 MHz and all of the U.S. FCC details can be found here: https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ ... TOB1011%27.
My question essentially boils down to whether a TellStick device could provide the functionality I'm looking for. From the notes on this website, it appears that only preset on/off devices are supported. But seeing as the device's remote functions at the same RF frequency as TellStick, I wonder whether some third-party application would allow control of the device. For example, could the TellStick Duo's (or Net's) receiving capability be used to "teach" it the device's button controls? Or is there some way to program the TellStick to emit the desired commands?
I'm sorry for the unorthodox (and somewhat taboo) question, but there seem to be enough knowledgeable folks here that one might have a solution. And if it turns out that the TellStick isn't the device for the job, I'd appreciate any alternative suggestions (i.e., any device that can emit desired commands through remote internet controls).
Thank you kindly,
Alex

You can send arbitrary commands to a TellStick but you need to know the protocol in advance. The receiving capabilities can unfortunately not be used.RandomInquiry wrote:But seeing as the device's remote functions at the same RF frequency as TellStick, I wonder whether some third-party application would allow control of the device.
