Adding hardware constructed by me?

Hi!
I have been developing things and own hardware with my own cloud or OpenHab software.
My very basic question here (because I am considering if it is possible to build HW compatible with TellStick) : is TS open so that I can add my HW?
I understand that it uses proprietary 433MHz protocol?

Thank you in advance
Lukas

What kind of HW have you built? Is it receiving or transmitting equipment?
Perhaps you should take a look at Telldus developer site:

hi
it is basically set of sensors, temperature, humidity, ground humidity, rain sensor, window open sensor - they are wifi based (ESP8266 wifi card) and so far I was connecting them to OpenHab.
Now I am thinking to do something similiar with Telldus but it seems that Telldus supports only Z-wave and 433Mhz for HW. Are those protocols open? I see in shops that some devices like sockets and sensors appeared with "Tellstick commpatible" stamp

Update, here is the project of self-made temperature sensor compatible with Tellstick Duo (over 433Mhz)
