Can I add support for new devices programtically?

Hi,

Its time to fire up the grill and really would like to be able to watch the status on my meat on phone. I found a Weber thermometer that is sending on 433 Mhz but in Telldus list of supported devices for Tellstick it said that only the old thermometer is supported. Even if the device/sensor is not supported, may it be possible to extract the information sent to Tellstick in any other way, programatically? Maybe by interpreting the callback in tdRegisterRawDeviceEvent(...)?

Anyone who have any ideas, or even have tried it successfully?
