They seem to be identical, but by the looks of it Nexa runs 433 MHz and KlikAanKlikUit runs 868 MHz.
Any more ideas or input on this topic?

Where do you see that the ICS-1000 uses the 868 MHz band? The user manual for the ICS units says that it uses the 433 MHz band.

I seem to be wrong when looking at
www.klikaanklikuit.nl. The reason I thought it was a difference in frequencies was that I came across the price competitive energy meter EML-1000 (page 6 in this document:
http://www.coco-technology.com/download ... eadslr.pdf) which runs on 868 MHz and it is said to only be compatible with the ICS-1000 so now I am more confused.

If the EML-1000 works with KlikAanKlikUit/Coco ICS-1000 it should work with Nexa Gateway? They seem to be identical.
And if so, shouldn't it even work with Telldus products?

Perhaps. Looking through the Nexa gateway manual, there are indeed references to Energy monitor functions (not yet implemented) .
I wouldn't rule out that the Telldus different products, in the future could handle the protocol from the energy unit, but I guess that the EML-1000 must first be readily available on the markets where Telldus sells it 's products before they start to implement the protocol.
Edit. reading the product sheet for the EML-100, it says that it uses the 868 MHz band. If so, the unit will definitely not work with a Tellstick.
