how to Repeat command

Hi.
I recently got tellstick-duo working on my raspberry pi.
But i have one problem... i would like it to "repeat" the commands, for example i type "tdtool --off 1" most of the time it works but not always.
So is it possible to edit some config or so to have the tellstick send the command 3 or so times with afew milliseconds between? i believe this is done nativly in windows?
or is it possible in any other way to have it send each command X number of times?
Another question: does anyone know a good nodeJS wrapper for tellstick? i want to create my own webgui
