Probably my TellStick Net is completely fried, but ...

...if I am lucky only the first component AFTER the mini-usb socket was destroyed.

Does anyone know what F83 is?

Looking at other components named R (resistance?) and C(Condensator?) I guess F stands for Fuse.

Does anyone know what spare component I could try? The fuse resistance?

Just try to short circuit the component with a pair of pliers. If you are lucky you will see your Net coming to life.
A fuse is not measured in resistance, but in current (Amps). If the component is a fuse, then I guess it's rating is approx 500 mA.
