Telldus live - Grouping + NEXA Remote

Post by tgundhus »

Hello!

I created a MasterOn/Off group on Telldus live, working "OK".
However I want to learn this group to my NEXA TMT-918 remote control.

So I can master all units with the Nexa remote. How do I learn the Master group to my nexa remote?
Is this possible?

Me too, I'd like to be able to switch on/dim to a certain level, all lights in the living room with one press on a "wall transmitter"
That would be *very* useful.

Another vote for this, somewhat missing this feature!

Some remotes I use as four button remotes rather than 3 button and a group. After all, a group signal does everything a unit signal does.

Would be nice to be able to select unit G or 1 through 16 when adding a NEXA / HomeEasy device.

When I recently bought my Telldus Net I took this functionality for granted, and now I'm learning something as elementary as controlling several lights with one button is NOT supported.

Oh my... Think I might bin this whole thing if Telldus doesn't feel like adding features to this system. After all, it has TONS of possibilities.

It would be great to have own page for "senders", where you could add all wall switchs etc. Anyhow, I'm really disappointed that one of the main functionality, using Tellstick with remote controls and other sending switchs, will cost something. We have been waiting it so long and it should be free for all users.

I miss this function as well. It should be fairly simple to implement.

May be I misunderstand the problem but:
Several lights ON/OFF with one button IS supported, but need EventsPro.
You can define as many remotes, events and actions .... as you want.

In one event you can put a number of actions;
Turn On/Off as many switches/lights as you want at same time.

If you want to use a remote to turn on/off more lights:
Define the remote as a self learning (Nexa or other) and use Scan Remote, press ON on the Remote, stop scanning, Save..
Define an event for the on/off of the remote.
In this event, in Action, turn on/off as many switches/lights as you want.

If you want this to be done on time:
You may put a "time event" in the event for the Remote,
Or:
Create an new event, select the time wanted, (actual conditions) and as action, select the Remote defined over, and set on/off.
This will send on/off on selected time to the same switches/lights as defined for the Remote.

Hard to find any limits...
But:
All possible functions can't be free, servers and staff need some income!
