I'm trying to update the firmware on my Duo.

According to http://developer.telldus.com/wiki/Firmware TellStickNetFlasher works with wine and TellStickNetFlasher can be used to update Duo. However, I'm unable to update Duo through wine.

The flasher starts, but reports "No TellStick found".

Am I doing something wrong? Is there an other way to update the Duo from Linux?

Using the TellStickFlasher through wine will only work with TellStick Net. You must use the tool native for it to find the usb devices.

Can't find a native flasher for Linux. Not in the Ubuntu packages, nor on download.telldus.com or developer.telldus.com. Am I missing something obvious?

Flasher is only available for Windows and Mac OS X.

So it's not possible to upgrade the firmware from Linux. :(

Any progress on this? It's been more than a year since you posted this. Some of us don't have Windows (or MacOS) computers at all...

It has been years now, I guess there will not be any support to flash Tellstick Duo on Linux?
As I don't have a Mac nor Windows XP nor Windows 7, how am I going to be able to update my duo? I just bought a Nexa LMST-606 and it will not turn things off as there is a bug in the v5 firmware of the duo. This is fixed in v12.

EDIT: I did have a Win 10 and tried to do the upgrade on that one and I succeeded using the Telldus Center installation. Please note though that one have to terminate the telldus service and the telldus center process then run the flash tool manually.
