Good automation software

Hello,
I am new in this home automation area and I just bought tellstick duo.
With the tellstick I'm planning to
- control part of my houses the lightning
- do some home away switch including schedule for some lightning
and maybe...
- follow and record inside / outside temperatures
- record energy consumption of different devices (if I found suitable energy meter, any suggestions?)
Now I'm looking for software to do the things. I have played with telldus scheduler, NexaHome and eventghost so far.
I don't know if there is one suitable software for all the things I'd like to do but what would be the best one(s) for my purposes?
Can you run several software and use the same tellstick? I'm planning to run the system with eeePC (windows).
It would be good to be able to do some kind of conditional scheduling and delays
Like: - if not "at home" the switch kitchen light on at 18:30.
