Maybe I have misunderstood the principe about Telldus and Tellstick, but is it possible to remote control your lightning on a another address if you have a PC with the Telldus or Tellstick dongle online?
I use two different program to remote control my office PC (LogMeIn and Teamviewer). I hope I can control Telldus or Tellstick from my home address. My PC on my office is online at every time.
One moment: Both remote programs work a little bit slowly, but I think this is not a problem in these case.
I see forward to receive an serious answer as soon as possible.
Thanks
Best regards
Paal

Hi Paal and welcome to the forums!
Yes this is fully possible, there are several programs doing this that you want. Take a look in the 3rd party software section of Telldus homepage here
http://www.telldus.com/thirdparty/index . Of course you need to have portforwarding working to be able to control your devices from outside the office. One example of application that does the job for you is HomeAutomation
http://www.telldus.com/thirdparty/show?id=3 , at the moment this requires a webserver on the same PC as you have your Tellstick dongle.

As tom mentioned there is some thirdparty applications offering this kind of features.
Telldus is also beta-testing our next project "Telldus Live!". Read more here:

Please note that this is not yet a stable product and might be a bit shaky from time to time.
