Hi,
After upgrading from 2.0.4 to 2.1 the telldusd daemon disconnect the the tellstick device (no duo).
Linux gubben 2.6.38-8-server #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:49:04 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The telldusd is running.
tdtool --version is reporting 2.1.0
If I shutdown telldusd deamon and reconnect the tellstick I see in the log:
[ 2205.513119] usb 2-2: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0
As soon as I restart the telldusd the following messages appears:
[ 2226.950467] ftdi_sio ttyUSB0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
[ 2226.950483] ftdi_sio 2-2:1.0: device disconnected
Regards.

Re: Upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.1 on Ubuntu
I reinstalled version 2.0.4 to get my Tellstick up and runing again on my ubuntu server.
Maybe I will re-try later with 2.1, but I had to get this working again.
It would be interesting to know if someone had the same problem.

Re: Upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.1 on Ubuntu
Hi!
I had similar problems with Fedora 15 (i686) and with 2.1.0. For some time I can control my devices with tdtool, but after a while device (/dev/ttyUSB0) gets disconnected.
The Tellstick device is couple of years old (Batch 8, model TS001). I haven't yet had time to go back to 2.0.4, but will do so soon.

We are now trying to consolidate discussion about these problems in this thread: http://www.telldus.se/forum/viewtopic.p ... 9293#p9293
