Tellstick Net and Remotes

Post by acaranta »

Hi !

I just received yesterday my Tellstick Net and I have to say, like many people ... it work brilliantly and the install was well really easy ...

However ... (yes there's a "but") ... I have to admit I bouhgt it for that fact it did not need any PC (love the standalone concept) and because it was advertised as compatible with remotes (such as Chacon remotes) ...

But is it me or ... where the hell do I configure remote ? It seems that the telldus live only allows the TN (Tellstick Net) to work as an emitter.

And well ... altought it works great via the web, the concept of having to start an app/boot a PC just to light your path/living room/bedroom/whateveryou want is just not really an option :(

What am I doing wrong ? (or What did I not find on the forums/web ? )

Right now it only works as emitter for remote socket receivers and receiver for temperature sensors. We are working on receiving signals from remotes as well!

Right OK ...

So the compatible product list was not really a lie ;)

I shall ask as probably many people ..... any release date ? ;)

I hate to bother you - but could you pls indicate when remotes will be supported?

TS NET is a great device but if the proper software comes in a year from now it is useless for me.
Pls don't make me regret not buying RFXCOM.

I just got my Tellstick NET and activated it, and so far so good, it seems to reach everywhere in my apartment and the pairing worked like a charm. But where and when is the support for remotes planned to be implemented? I mean, that's part of why I bought a NET, to actually be able to receive signals as well :)
