New app for AppleWatch, AppleTV, iPhone and iPad! available

Post by magner » Thu Jan 18, 2018 11:08 am

Hi,

I am happy to announce my new app for the Telldus Live! service. This is the first app to support the Telldus Live! service on Apple Watch and Apple TV!

Now with geofencing support on the iPhone and iPad!

The app gives you a combined view with your sensors and devices in a nice simple user interface. You can quickly turn on or off any devices, and dimmers are easily controlled with minimal effort. Blinds and projector screens is also supported.

Important features:
- Supports iPhone, iPad, AppleWatch and AppleTV.
- Geofencing support on iPhone and iPad.
- Create groups for your sensors and devices.
- Device groups can quickly be turned on and off. Blinds and projector screens will also be a part of the group action.
- Turing dimmers on will use the last dimming level instead of full light.
- Renaming sensors and devices will update the name in the Telldus Live! service.
- Uses iCloud to automatically log in to the service on other devices, including Apple TV
- Complications is supported on the Apple Watch, and you can choose which sensor that will be available in the watch faces form the iPhone. The app launches very quickly from the watch complication.

Important! In this version you must log in to the Telldus Live! service using the At Home app on an iPhone or iPad sharing the same iCloud user to be able to use this app on the Apple TV.

Support for other device types and other Telldus Live! features will be added in future versions.

Works great, thanks!

One feature i really would appreciate having, would be support for telldus live's "trigger events".
Being able to view all events created under trigger events, and also the possibility to enable/disable them.
Right now there doesnt seem to be any IOS app out there that have this feature, so the only option is to login through a web browser to be able to enable/disable triggered events.

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Hi,

That feature will be added to version 2.1. There you will be able to set events and schedules active or inactive.

Hi,

A new version is waiting for Apple review, it should be out i a few days.
Here is what is new:

- Geofencing now supports time-limitation. Active time period can be specified for a geofence.
- On/Off-devices can now be specified with different functionality:
- Regular lamp (As before)
- Switch - same functionality, but different icon. Better indication for devices that does not control lamps.
- Use to start event - This is very convenient when you are using "fake" devices to trigger events. The device is turned on to trigger the event, and then off again so that next press on the device will trigger the event again. This way you can define your scenarios as events in Telldus Live and trigger them from the app. The device list will be refreshed after 8 seconds to show the result form the triggered event.
- This new functionality is controlled form the group settings screen. Just click on an on/off device-to set the new options.
