Telldus mobile TestFlight App can not be installed on iPhone

Post by p0ke » Thu Jan 18, 2018 11:08 am

Hi Telldus team!

I´ve got the testflight link for Telldus mobile (1.0.1 #2) and I´ve started the installation of the app.
Before it could be installed completely the message "app cannot be installed at this time". appears.
I use an iPhone 3GS. I´ve tried it the last 3 days but without success.

Any ideas?

Have you installed the provisioning profile?

Hi Micke,
thanks for your response.
If you mean the TestFlight configuration profile, yes. Have installed it with success.

You should be able to install everything from within the TestFlight app. We are quite new to TestFlight as well.

To be able to distribute apps through TestFlightApp the UDID of every devices which should have access to the app needs to be added to the provisioning profile in the developers account (Apple DEV). After this the new provisioning profile needs to be uploaded to TestFlightApp and permissions granted. Or is it an adhoc app?

@tom_rosenback: They are. Else you won't even get the option to give permission to the user to download the app.

Alrighty then :D I have noticed myself that the link that TestFlightApp provide doesn´t always work as expected, so what I have done to install an app is to first manually go with the browser (of the mobiledevice to testflightapp.com) and register it there. After that a configuration profile for TestFlight should be installed on the phone, this profile can be seen from Settings => General => Profiles. If this all has succeeded there should also be a TestFlight appicon on the homescreen. Open this and there should be all the apps the given device has got permission to install.

Hope this helps!
