I have ordered one of these rf-rgb-controllers too. It would be great if I could control it with tellstick net.

Hi,

I'm afraid this goes to the same category I asked about a bit earlier (via support):
Hello, please consider adding support for RF Led Dimmers working in RF 433Mhz (like this: http://www.ledlightsupplier.com/remote-led-dimmer.html). If you need to study it they are quite inexpensive to purchase (under 10$ from eBay) but very handy and reliable for remote controlling leds.

Currently we do not have plans for this kind of receiver.
The problem with these types is that there is no standard behind them. They might change the communication between productions series. This will give a very bad customer experience.
Probably the one you refer to is one of these "no standard behind" type of devices...

Telldus live can now scan code of RF remote so :
Normaly we can Turn on/off this devices ...
Some one to confirm ?

Is thre any known RGB controller which is supported by TellStick NET Live?

OFF/ON is the minimum requirement, but it could be nice to built ambience lights whre predefined program rotates only selected colors. Chinese RGB LED lamps can rotate all colors, but when you want to create a certain atmosphere, you do not want all different colors.

I was disappointed to learn that Telldus Live does not support https://aeotec.com/z-wave-led-lightbulb, or any other RGB device judging by this thread.

Support said this:
RGB is on our todo, together with alot of other feature requests.

Your Telldus Team,
Regards,
Fredrik
Sadly, the list of feature requests and their status is not public.

My way of getting around the whole RGB issue, was to buy a USB IR transceiver (http://www.irtrans.de/en/shop/usb.php and connect it to my Raspberry Pi, which runs the (slightly modified) included IR server as a daemon. I've also created a Tellstick plugin which basically is a "bridge" to the IR transceiver, so I can do basic IR stuff (like changing the RGB color on lights/lamps) via the Tellstick API.

I'm pretty satisfied with this configuration, although I'd prefer to have everything in one place, so this is kind of my temporary solution.

Bluetooth:
Raspberry Pi, running a custom API HTTP server, which also is connected to Dot Matrix LED display and a 16x2 LCD display.

IR (RGB LEDs/Lamps, Surround Receiver/TV/Apple TV, etc):
USB IR transceiver connected to Raspberry Pi

Airplay and Spotify Connect:
Apple TV (native) and Raspberry Pi (not that native, but it works)

IKEA Ansluta & RGB strips LED controller:
NodeMCU 5V USB dev board (Arduino) with relay

433 mHz and ZWave, blink(1) USB RGB light, IFTTT (ok, it suddenly struck me that people reading this probably know what a Tellstick does and doesn't :D )
Tellstick Znet Lite v2 & Tellstick.Net
