Could the Duo and Net be used to record signals from controllers and play them back ?
Like a record and playback function. I guess you might have to try a few times to get the 'recording' right but it would open up access a whole lot.
Then again I've no real understanding, but it would be nice to understand why such a function could not exist. Any comments welcome.

I think it's possible ! For local proxy with tellstick-net, i used wireshark to see socket traffic. Capture it and play again.

Telldus Live has a remote scanning function for each device, so you could record a remote code and apply that to a receiver device without pairing that device with the remote emitter.
