We are currently experiencing some major delivery problems regarding TellStick Duo and TellStick Net. We will try to keep you up to date with any news regarding the progress on our open orders with our supplier.

We have been using the same supplier for a long time producing TellStick. Everything have been working well until recently. In November 2011 we got an order of 1000 TellStick Duo and 1000 TellStick Net. They were sold out immediately. Since then the delivery date from the supplier has been postponed time and again.

The latest news from our current supplier was that the order of TellStick Net should have shipped on Wednesday, April 4, which didn't happen. After that, we have got two messages from the forwarding agent about further delays. No news at all from the supplier.

We are currently in negotiations with a new supplier for future orders but this will take some time. Hopefully the first order with the new supplier will be delivered fall 2012.

Update April 18th: New report from the forwarding agent. TellStick Net should be picked up on Friday. These shipment dates have been cancelled before though.
Update May 2nd: TellStick Net is on its way, now confirmed.
Update May 7th: TellStick Net is here. We're doing the final programming now, and are sending out to retailers/distributors as they are ready.

Still waiting for TellStick Duo. Both TellStick Duo and TellStick Net have been sent out to retailers.

No news at this time, I'm afraid. We're still waiting.

What are you saying, that the pre-ordered Duo won't be available for another 6 months??????

Latest report from the forwarding agent is that TellStick Net should be picked up for shipping this Friday, and be here about a week later. These shipment dates have been cancelled two times before though, so we'll just have to wait and see.

What about the Duo?

TellStick Duo should be produced next, the order for them was placed at the same time as for TellStick Net. But we have no dates for them at all yet.

Meanwhile: The Accessory Retailer Kjell & Co has now removed all Telldus products from their webshop. Is this a trend?

Who owns the Tellstick product?

If you have been waiting since October, and especialy if you want this for your business. I think you have some kind of right to ask for updates.
And as stated the Telstick Net was supposed to be shipped, I guess/hope Telldus is calling there supplier every day to get some kind of response.
If there was an alternativ to buy somewhere else, or an equal product I would have done so long time ago.
I have been looking at products from RFXCOM, but there is not that much software development around theire product.
But who knows...

Well, yes, but they are removed since they don't have anything to sell. I actually think it's a good thing to not take any more pre-orders when the deliveries are so delayed as they are now. It's of course not good from a marketing perspective, but on the other hand there will probably not be as many disappointed customers.

We do. Everything is developed and designed here, but the actual manufacturing is done overseas, for economical reasons.

Yes! The latest news from the supplier (today) is that TellStick Net has been shipped, but is waiting in a warehouse for the air freight here. We are still waiting for confirmation from the forwarding agent, and we are not counting any chickens just yet.
