Re: Automagically showing incorrect time

Ok, that's fine, but my Raspberry made the correction by it self after a few weeks. Seems very strange ...

Can you explain more in detail, where to put your solution. Should it be in Raspberry Pi or in Automagically?

AutoMower -Charging or Cutting?

This is what I want, that Automagiacally should do for me: 1. Tell me if AutoMower is charging. 2. Tell me if AutoMower is working (cutting grass) 3. Send an alarm if, of some reason, AutoMower has stopped. No. 1 & 2 I think I can handle. Just a transmitter which send different codes for ON/OFF....

Re: Automagically + Xively = True

Questions .... When command sudo pip install requests is executed, will this remain in the image if I make a backup of the working image? I think it is, but just to be sure ... Can you give an example how to implement, in Automagically, the xively, report:NAME:VALUE,NAME:VALUE; / xively,report:NAME:V...

Re: AutoMower -Charging or Cutting?

Isn't there anybody "out there" having a clue? I just want to log the timestamp for "OUT" and "IN" position.

Thanks in advance!

Re: AutoMower -Charging or Cutting?

Now I can see if AutoMower is charging or cutting in my remote. This was quite simple to configure. I use a micro switch located on the charging panel and this light up a LED mounted in front of the dusk sensor LBST-604. All this is mounted in a closed waterproof box. LED on = Charging (status ON fo...

Re: Automagically showing incorrect time

Ok, I looked in the file and there was only 1 row: nameserver 192.168.1.1 This is the IP of my gateway. Should I keep this row and add 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in separate rows? The file resolv.conf should be like this then: nameserver 192.168.1.1 nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 Is this correct?? /...

Tidsstämpel

Kan man hämta aktuell tid från Raspberry med datafetch? Då borde man kunna styra den hämtningen, så att vid en händelse kunna använda den tidsstämpeln. M.a.o. få ut händelsen + tidstämpel. Kanske någon händig kan göra ett plugin för Automagically för detta? Själv är jag inte kunnig i Linux så mycket...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

I don't know, but something is going wrong with the latest wem 0.9 ... This is what I did: 1. Installed a fresh "clean" image of my own. 2. After a "cold" reboot, with winSCP, I copied the wem.py (ver. 09) to the plugin directory. 3. New "Cold" reboot and when Pi was re...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

Sorry Marcus with all my troubles ... In some way it ends up in my poor knowledge of Linux I think. No, I didn't remove the wem.pyc when I copied the new ver. 0.9 to the plugin directory. I think you mean I should do that? So, what does the .pyc file do? Does the versions has its own .pyc file? I wi...

Re: AutoMower -Charging or Cutting?

Ok and thanks for reply! No I haven't been able to make any historical logging. At the moment, in Automagically, I can see when AM has "walked out"=Cutting and when AM is "at home" ="Charging". I have an account at Xively and there I can see a graphic curve for AM Cutti...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

Finally, I have made success in installing wem version 0.9 ! And now logging to CSV file. But command sudo service automagically stop ---> sudo service automagically start did not make the wem plugin coming up in System settings . When I made a reboot I can see and configure it. Thanks Marcus for yo...

I've tried to configure email function in Automagically without any success ... What's the trick? Anybody have a "How To?" for doing this? I think I've configured all correct, but no email coming trough to recipent. I send in " See signals and create handler or device from them "...

Automagically showing incorrect time

My Automagically is a little strange ... Time showing is 1/2 hour behind local time (Swedish summertime). I've tried to shutdown the Raspberry, stop and start the Automagically service. Negative result in both cases. My question is : From where is Raspberry/Automagically collecting the time? I have ...

Re: AutoMower -Charging or Cutting?

This is amazing ... >100 looks and no one have any idea ... Has Automagically past "the best before"? Not for me, I think it's a great software, but my skills in Linux is to poor. Otherwise I had made this long time before! But, if you have any idea, please let us know. I think that, I'm n...

Re: Wireless Energy Meter Plugin - ALPHA

Now I've implemented the first part of your tutorial. I have it in my remote and I can see it coming up in Xively. But I'll have to wait until I've consumed the first kWh so I can see if it actually works ... But I think it will be presented when the energy has been used! Thanks for your efforts, Ma...
