Any day now. I have been waiting for 5-6 weeks already. The post service is extra slow now before Christmas I guess.

I post here when they are available again.

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Turned out that my pcb:s had a small fault

The LED is always on when it was supposed to only blink when sending data.
It is quite easy to fix. One cut of a trace and make a bridge.

Max voltage allowed is set by the pic, 5.5V. I have used both three and four AAA batteries. Note that if you use four batteries they need to be NiMh as they are 1.2V each. Minimum voltage is limited by what sensors you have connected. You need to check the spec. The PIR need at least 4.5V. If you ha...

Checked it now. Here are respectively sensors voltage limits.

PIC12F675: min 3.0V - max 5.5V
DS18B20: min 3.0V - max 5.5V
DHT22: min 3.3V - max 6.0V
HC-SR501 (PIR): min 4.5V - max 14V

The PIC sets the maximum allowed voltage. It should never be higher than 5.5V.

Edit: Added PIC information.

My guess is a year or more with 3 aaa. I have not had a device going without manipulating/updating/changing it. A 3V cell will probably not last long. A lithium cell (3.6V) however would be fine an would likely last for a long time. http://www.kjell.com/sortiment/el/batterier/litiumbatterier/batteri...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Great that you build your own. I am actually learning to draw PCBs in Diptrace right now. I hope to have ordered a batch of pcb:s before the end of this week. The size of the pcb will be 24*24mm, including space for an optional 2.1mm power adaptor. Before mid of December I hope to be able to sell a ...

Interesting with the energy meter. At about mid of December I will have a kit ready for wirelessly send the energy readings from energy meters that have a blinking LED. It will be the same size as the esic clone. I hope to have a good enough solution for lost packages using a wireless protocol. I lo...

It will be fully compatible with tellstick duo/net and rfxtrx433 so no special receiver is needed :)

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Hrrrm.

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

I will sell them as a kit. 149:-+shipping(12:-) each including all components and a pre-programmed pic. There will be no sensor included since many want to buy the sender on its own to attach to their existing 1-wire network. I will however also sell the different sensors if you are interested. Ther...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick
