Det korrekta är ju naturligtvis att fixa buggen i källkoden. Dvs att koda för den nya versionen av biblioteket.

Jag kan inte C++ och cmake, så jag kan tyvärr inte fixa detta.

It is bad that the software are not upgraded to a later version. It doesn't look like Telldus want to do that, so the question if it has been forked. Has anyone seen something for that?

This is an awful hack. It should really be updated and not use old and possible buggy libraries.

Codes are stored in the devices, so if your new installation uses these codes, it will work.

It should be able to install from source, as long as the software is updated with current versions of those libraries.

I have tried to compile the software from source, and it doesn't support some of the current versions of the software.

So, as telldus obviously stoped supporting us, are there any fork of the software that actually works?

När telldus har slutat supporta Linux med sin programvara, så undrar jag om det finns någon som har en fungerande fork. Ja, jag har sänt in bugfixar men inte sett att de ens svarat på dem.

It is open, and I have compiled it to RPi before. I have been one of that written instruction how you compiled it from source, because telldus only had support for amd64 and i386.

Now it doesn't even work on those.

Do you know if there are any new release that support modern libraries? When I try to compile from source, it bails out on generation documentation and that some libraries are to old. Or if there are some working fork that one could use, that have accepted bug fixes? I have written some of the early...

Doxygen isn't needed to compile. What I have problems with is that pthread_create isn't found. I have added in end of telldus-core-2.1.2/CMakeList.txt SET(FORCE_COMPILE_FROM_TRUNK TRUE) etc from above. It looks like you have spelled something wrong, as there are a "-Wno-narrowing" in the C...

EDIT: A ) to much. Works when editing CMakeLines.txt in telldus-core-1.2.1/{tdtools,tdadmin}. Hmm, it doesn't look like build of tdtool add those from telldus-core-1.2.1/CMakeLines.txt when linking and compile. Downloaded with $ apt-get source telldus-core Added to end of telldus-core-2.1.2/tdtools/...
