Solved. The workaround way. Used my sons PC rather than my laptop.

Idea: I suspect it might be Windows related, and that my sons PC (from which I managed to upgrade) is part of a Workgroup, while the laptop (which failed) is part of a Domain (yes, my work laptop...)

Any related insights?

Ja, jag hade detta fel. Löste sig när jag provade med en annan browser (fungerade inte med Firefox, fungerade med Internet Explorer).
