Andersson ProjectorScreen

Hi

I have a projector screen from NetOnNet.se, it's an Andersson PRS-21 ( http://www.netonnet.se/art/tv-och-bild/ ... 5931.3124/).

It has a RF transmitter for UP/DOWN/STOP commands running on 433mhz frequency.

There is a barcode on the back of the remote with the text CY14045857

If i open it up the RF component is a "SAW HDR433M" https://www.dorukanstore.com/class/INNO ... 33M(1).pdf

I've tried everything i can think of to google on, and tried the existing Rollerblinds, kingping and Roxcore devices in TelldusCenter without any luck.
I've tried to Scan the remote as well with both Tellstick DUO and tellstick.NET.

I have an USB-UIRT, a logitech Harmony, a IR-RF translator (actualy is an IR extender with the possibility to send RF commands, but i dont think it can receive RF commands).

Do you have any idea how i can manage to figure out what settings to use to add it as an device?

Or do you have any guess on how i should configure "Roxcore" device in tellstick to try it on my Andersson screen, like 1-1-0-0-1-1-1-1, or how to do it in a smart way.. 3 positions for 8 pins is alot of combinations to try one by one :D

I'v defined teh RoxCore like this:

I'll try it when i get home, but i guess it's unique for each device and since you named your device Roxcore i guess you have a roxcore screen and not Andersson?

Another way of solving your problem is to hack the remote control, and connect a Nexa EJLR-1000 in parallel with the up- and down-buttons of the remote control.

The roxcore commands didn't work.

The other idéa to connect a EJLR-1000 sounds like a smart solution if i cant get it to work! :)

This is how my remote looks like, where would i connect it?
The buttons are the rectangles with a grey spot on them
UP
STOP
DOWN

(let me know if the link to my dropbox dont work and I'll upload them to some site)

Sorry you did'nt get it to work as roxcore, did you try other bit settings?

The EJLR-1000 should be "peace of cake". NEXA has a very good manual of how to connect.
http://www.nexa.se/res/pdf/Manualer/EJL ... ual-EN.pdf

To get it to work with a remote you should put the EJLR-1000 in learn mode.
As you can't scan your remote you will need a NEXA remote.

Did you ever check the Telldus compability list: http://telldus.se/products/compability

I did check the compatibility list but i got a realy good deal on the screen, so trying to find a solution :)

I know how the nexa device works and how to program it, what I'm not sure about is where to connect it to the remote, because i think you meant to connect cables from the ELJR to the UP and Down button on the remote, so instead of trying to find a multimeter to measure the power maybe someone out here are smarter then me and could take a good guess on where to connect them to the remote circuit :)

The cnnection from the remote to the NEXA is "wireless".

Put the NEXA in LearnMode and scan the remote. (Suppose you will need a NEAX remote)

The COM terminal from the Nexa receiver is connected to the upper right pin on either the up or down button. The two other terminals from the Nexa is connected to the lower right pin of each up and down buttons.
Ensure that you don't feed any mains voltage to your transmitter!

Like i said, i have good knowledge of the NEXA system. My question how to connect it was meant for Etompau as he suggested to connect the ELJR to the remote circuit, i didn't see the quote button so sorry for the confusion :)

Did i understand correctly? When reading the manual for EJLR-1000 (http://www.nexa.se/res/pdf/Manualer/EJL ... ual-EN.pdf) its chapter 4C that is most applicable, right? Do i need to connect the two "other" terminals on the ELJR?

I'll give it a try wihout any soldering first and see if i can get it to work correctly :)

The difference between them seems to be that ELJR can dim LED lights, and the function i need now is only to send power on/off (which will be UP/Down when connected to the remote)

Absolutely not. You must ensure that no mains or any voltage is feed to your remote control, if you do this by mistake, the remote is instantly destroyed.
The new ELJR has two voltage free contacts which emulates the up/down-buttons. Have a look at the installation manual page 6.

Yes installations example 4C is the most applicable, but is referring to 12 V motors.

The ELJR receiver has no dimming functions whatsoever, it is basically two potential free relays that is intended to control blinds, garage doors etc.

You drawing seems correct. Com is connected to the common traces going to the three buttons, and the two relay contact goes to the up/down buttons.

I just received the ELJR 1000, but what i noticed is that it does not come with an internal battery, so I guess that i need to power the ELJR some way.

Do you have any suggestion on how to do it? Or am i missing anything, i tried to push the learn button to enable it in tellduscenter but i can't get the led to blink on the ELJR, thats why I'm guessing it needs a powersource.

The receiver is powered from the mains (230 V AC). No mains, no blinking LED! The mains is connected to the L and N terminals. So you need a ordinary mains cable/plug in order to power the receiver.
As said previously, be careful not feeding mains to your remote control. When you see that the set-up is working, I would suggest that you mount the receiver and remote control in a plastic box.

If thats so I must have missed something special.. Etompau had an idea on how to connect the NEXA receiver to existing remote control of my screen, not to the actual motor itself.

My screen: http://www.netonnet.se/art/tv-och-bild/ ... 5931.3124/
It has a motor, and a controlbox connected on the powercable to the motor which can be used for controling the screen
It also has a remote control to control the screen from a distance.

Etompau had an idea to connect the ELJR 1000 to the remote control to "simulate" a push on the on/off button

Like this picture.

But maybe i missundstood and i need to connect the ELJR directly to my screens powercable.
