But that docuement does not describe that there can be model fields with content like this: selflearning-switch:nexa

What is this new syntax in the configuration file for. Easier understanding or is there a differnce between:
selflearning-switch:nexa
selflearning-switch:proove

And in that case, what is allowed after the : ?

This is just used to indicate which brand the device should be shown as in TelldusCenter. If the devices are configured in TelldusCenter, it is added automatically. If TelldusCenter is not used, it is not important.

No, but if you parse the file it could be important...

anyhow, I manage, but a note on the Wiki page about that after a : there could be some string that is just optional and not changing any behaviour.
