Once I got the /signals/index page to work it was easy. Seems like i hit a bug where I had a (several actually) devices with 'åäö' in the name, it seems like it caused the daemon/main.py process to use 100% of the cpu and prevented groups from continuing to devices "after" such device. renaming the devices fixed the problem of manually turning groups on/off but scheduling still didn't work (and the signal log page gave a 500 error). after killing main.py and restartig it both scheduling and signals log page started to work again.

I haven't tried to reproduce the problem yet, so take the cause with a grain of salt.
