http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/433mhz ... -1393.html

Esic_clone variants 2 - Google Drive.jpg

Hi
It's a English board index it will be kind to write in english. thanks

Niclaf are you pcb design to your nice circuits ?

http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/433mhz ... -1393.html should be a good project maybe you can open new ticket on telldus to update future new device ?

a question I ask myself what is product telldus use to BLOCKHEATER function on Events toolbox to control heater car ? It should be supply on 12VCC.

thanks

A blockheater is an electric heater inserted in the cooling water circuit of the car engine. It is connected to the 230V mains supply. We use it for pre-heating during winter. The blockheater function in Telldus calculates the time needed for heating as a function of outdoor temperature.

Hi,

What kind of battery are you guys using for this and how long does it last? I want to try this little project!

Max voltage allowed is set by the pic, 5.5V. I have used both three and four AAA batteries. Note that if you use four batteries they need to be NiMh as they are 1.2V each.

Minimum voltage is limited by what sensors you have connected. You need to check the spec. The PIR need at least 4.5V. If you have one of those you need 4.5-5.5V

I will have esic_clone-kit ready for sale within a month I hope.

Edit: Changed dht22 to PIR

Checked it now. Here are respectively sensors voltage limits.

PIC12F675: min 3.0V - max 5.5V
DS18B20: min 3.0V - max 5.5V
DHT22: min 3.3V - max 6.0V
HC-SR501 (PIR): min 4.5V - max 14V

The PIC sets the maximum allowed voltage. It should never be higher than 5.5V.

Edit: Added PIC information.

Thanks for the quick reply! Was thinking of using "Coin batteries" at 3V first. How long does your setup with three or four AAA batteries last? Have ordered everything on eBay already except the batteries, so I'm playing the waiting game.

My guess is a year or more with 3 aaa. I have not had a device going without manipulating/updating/changing it.
A 3V cell will probably not last long. A lithium cell (3.6V) however would be fine an would likely last for a long time.

Edit: Added link and changed li-ion to lithium

How are things going with PCBs? Do you have any available for sale?

Great news! What will be the price for 4 inc. shipping (within Sweden)?
