Electronic transformer control

I've just bought a TellStick and some Waveman switches. The plug-in switches work nicely but I tried to connect a Remote Control Dimmer Switch (32-6452) to an electronic transformer for halogen spotlights and the result was flickering lights and no real control - which could be expected as it states incandecent bulbs under the load specification. The question is, does anybody know of a Remote Control Dimmer Switch that can take an electronic transformer as the load?
Happy for any suggestion.
