Hello guys, I have recently bought a tellstick classic and got it working with the Raspberry pi. When I type tdtool --on 1 into the command line the device switches on. However I would like a python script to do this when I click a hyperlink. How would I go about doing this?
Thanks in advance
Richard

Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
Hello guys! I have recently bought an original Tellstick (the small old blue one) to use with my Raspberry Pi model B along with a couple of HomeEasy plug sockets. I would like to get this working so that when I enter a command, the tellstick will be able to switch the sockets on and off. After a bi...

Re: Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
No. I have only done what it says in this guide. http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Tellstick_core
When are you supposed to run that tool? I did edit the config file with nano and add the devices I need though.

Re: Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
I am using HomeEasy (I am from the U.K) and there is a button for learning mode just like you are describing. My issue though has nothing to do with learning the devices. My Telldusd service will not start when using the guide posted above
This is the only english-speaking guide I can find though.

Re: Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
Thanks for the link. I appear to be stuck on step 4. I have typed in "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/telldus.list" and it has opened a blank file in the text editor with no lines of text. I don't know what it means though when it says add kälkodskälla in your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tel...

Re: Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
As soon as I replaced the T in tellstick with a small t the guide was very useful. Thankyou for your help on this as I have now managed to get a few plug sockets working using the td--off and td--on commands. I will now be able to start on my web interface for this project

Re: Raspberry Pi & Tellstick
Thanks for the links. I have looked at the demo of home automation but i think it looks a bit too complex for my needs. I only have the Tellstick classic which does not input anything. I guess this means no temp sensors etc so all I can really do is turn stuff on and off. I do like the fact that it ...

Raspberry Pi, Tellstick & Website Interface
With help from a few people in this forum I have managed to get my Tellstick working with my Raspberry Pi. When I go into the terminal and type tdtool --on 3 my light turns on. However, I would now like to create a web interface to run this command when a button is clicked. I have set up L.A.M.P on ...
