Re: Wireless Energy Meter Plugin - BETA

Version 0.9 has been committed to bitbucket and a pull request has been created for David to assess. This version implements logging to csv file. It can be downloaded using this command: $ wget https://bitbucket.org/MarcusKarlsson/automagically/raw/1a07b67f8b15975a16715d4ff637ee97f953f063/site/plugi...

Re: Developer discussion - Hanging Threads

[My instance of] Automagically seems to enter some hanging state every now and then. It seems to be rather random and the effect is a unresponsive system. I notice that some of the plugins, such as the tellduslive plugin, executes quite a lot of code in the signalHandler. I wonder if that is workin...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

This is the same behavior I mentioned in a parallel thread. My system stabilized by disabling live and has now been up an feeding Xively for more than 10 days. Can you try to disable live and see if it gets better? Is may be possible to check the condition David mentions by tdtool -l If you do this ...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

I did not fully understand if you had overcome with a fresh image or not. I cannot recommend googlespread, underlying components are not stable an google spread is not ready for these volumes of data. To count too many, follow the previous instructions but use other variables an transforms. I don't ...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

As I wrote earlier, the mentioned problems came with when I installed your clean torrent-imgage. Seems very strange ... That is no good; then we should not use the image I created . Might be so that David's images uses the telldus 2.1.2 beta 8 that may have fixes for your problem but where I used 2...

Re: Updated image available [2014-03-07]

I'll see if I can find some time to dig into this tomorrow, no promises.
For now - don't use this image.

Re: Updated image available [2014-03-07]

Hi, I cannot repeat your issue. I plugged in the SD card from which I created the image and it works just fine. I can change settings and enable signal traces without any issues. I could also add a signal transform and feed xively. Tomorrow I'll try to "burn" the SD again to that I start f...

I'll see if I can find some time to dig into this tomorrow, no promises. Cannot reproduce your error mrleffe. Burned a new SD card with the 2013_03_07 image, note the MD5 hash: writer_hash.JPG Started up the system and fetched the latest ( 0.8 ) wem.py: puttydump.JPG Configured wireless energy mete...

User accounts

Hi (David), When reading up on Django, it appears as if one can define multiple users; this however seems to have been disabled somehow. Noticed in your images logfile that the last action was to remove the user "David". Can you please elaborate on this a bit. Can one log-in as admin and w...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

I noticed that in the picture you attached, the Manual Mode was set to True . Also you have the time set to False for Human reading. Should it be like that when logging to CSV file? Do not use manual mode; that is only used when I need to simulate special behavior such as TO_MANY_LOST_PACKAGES in t...

EDIT : web ==> wem Went to my Pi currently using wem.py version 0.6 and did exactly this: $ cd ~/downloads $ wget http://www.telldus.com/forum/download/file.php?id=458 -O wem_ver_0.9.zip $ cd ~/source/automagically/site/plugins/ $ sudo service automagically stop $ sudo rm wem.py* $ unzip ~/download...

Re: Another strange behavior ...

EDIT : web ==> wem Do exactly as I did above and it should work. It'll download the right version in the right way. Note that I remove wem.py* which means I remove both wem.py and wem.pyc. And yes, I recommend to remove pyc files when replacing py files. Should not be needed, but by removing the co...

Re: WiFi Adaptor

Ok thanks! Now my Pi is wireless + Ethernet. Both with static IP. I will have a look for reserved IP in my router. I'm not sure if it's possible to do that in my ASUS RT-N56U. Looks quite possible to me, would doubt if it wasn't. http://event.asus.com/2009/networks/dummy_ui/en/Advanced_DHCP_Content...
