Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

PS Is the protocol selectable, i.e. can I select to use either mandolyn or fineoffset? I can answer that one. The protocol is selected by which firmware you program onto the PIC chip. Niclas has written both protocols to work with most sensors. Not sure about the light sensor though, you'll have to...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Thank you again Niclas the sensors are all working great. I had a quetion I thought someone might be able to help me with. I am tring to use one power supply to power more than one sensor. Yet with voltage seems to drop and I'm finding it hard to supply a constant voltage. Is there a capacitor that ...

Re: Home Easy HE105 - Is it POSSIBLE?

Currently we do not support this device. If we will ever support it is impossible to answer. Go on. Please. Have a look at it. Please add to 2.1.3 rather than some future release. http://developer.telldus.se/ticket/286 With all the other functions coming together this would be really useful device ...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

If you have a multi-sensor and if you have a pickit2, I can send you the alpha firmware. I should have an S8 (400-2000 ppm) ordered by Monday. Thank you so much for sharing your work. If you want to send the firmware privately my email is simonchorley at gmail . com Thankyou :D The two protocols ar...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

my firmware thinks it is a PIR sensor... just a thought :) As soon as I have it ready and tested I let you know. And thanks for your feedback! Yes this would make sense with what I've experienced. I find it 'jams' the other sensors when it crashes. Like its sending data all the time. Not sure how e...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Why have CO2 sensor in your home? Do you have a fire place or? 1. For the F**k of it. 2. I smoke; very small fire. And I'm hot; big fire. 3. I have a MVHR unit which ventilates, or not, the whole flat. The ventilation levels can be controlled and there is a boost switch. So if Co2 levels rise, I'm ...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Great, the beta seems good. I've had no problems. It reports a CO2 sensor even if one is not connected but that's easily fixed. The 100.1 pushes the graphs in Tellmon up a level and would be better if it just reported 100. But like I say nothing really; I'm not sure I'd even re-program the chips for...

Re: Fire - Smoke - Gas detectors supported by Telldus?

None. I'd say. I'm building a DIY Multi-senor with a Co2 sensor but it looks like you are not looking for possible solutions and only real products. You might considering posting in the correct part of the forum 'hardware' But there is little support and I wouldn't hold out much hope. Can you let me...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

wooo hoo. I've got the Co2 sense and it works great !!! It works with S8 and DTH22 and one DS18B20 Dallas Temperature sensor, tested. (Telldus NET) It does not work without the S8 sensor attached, as even if you earth the data pin for the sensor it still doesn't settle. The S8 is giving readings fro...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Yes thanks again. Its really responsive to people and smoking and such and really useful with ventilation systems. Yes the one from here worked for me >> https://www.m.nu/s8-co2matare-fran-sensair-p-1440.html I guess an Senseair S8 4B would be more ideal for a battery powered sensor but I'm unlikely...

Rouge Events

Hello, I am getting a few 'rouge events'. I've got a light that seems to turn it's self on repeatedly and then stops. Is there any log I could check to see what is happening? I've signed up to allow access to my account to a couple of web-services is they any way to manage these? Tellmon is giving m...

I need a Pro account now !!!! Why !! Too many conditions

Was there a change?? When did you need a pro account to have more than one condition? Why can I still not control my Telldus Net locally? So you can milk some more money? I spend an age setting up the conditions to have to delete them all to make the event work again. Where was the notification of t...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Re : sensair S8 Well there are two places I see where you can buy the sensor. I guess I'd go for the standard range with 400 to 2000 ppm (3%). Seems like the sellers are a bit confused about scale with one quoting 400 to 32,000 ppm. Either way have you been working with the standard one? It a very c...

Re: I need a Pro account now !!!! Why !! Too many conditions

Sorry I must have set them up when I was tring the pro account. Anyhow I've thought of the odd work around I need to be able to control the whole house ventilation and need a number of different conditions to trigger it. Using the conditions in the pro account stopped the system turning it off if on...
