Re: Help needed. Switching 240v ventalation system and Home

If a device has no neutral it leaches some current through circuit to power itself. ... it should work unless it's either broken or there is something wrong with it's construction. Thanks Zapper. Really helps to have a bit of input. So I guess it might help to wire the plug with an earth and neutra...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

Thanks for the new offset-version. I find that the battery reporting on the humidity is 50% where as with the mandolyn firmware it always give a number over 100%, which is easy to interpret. Obviously not a humidity report. I used the Offset version as otherwise the sensor reports as the same ID as ...

Re: HE108

If you could try another remote instead of the Tellstick then you could be sure where the error was. I bet its the Home Easy devise, I've found they have a high failure rate. Then again we can not tell unless you can confirm where the problem is. As a long shot, you could try making sure you deletin...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

How is the CO2 meter sensor testing coming on?
I'm using humidity to control ventilation but I think Co2 would also be a good measure for increasing air flow.

Where's the best place to get a CO2 sensor, me being in the UK?
Its a Senseair s8 you're using?

Re: Tellstick Net scanning?

Well their blog states >> "This is very frustrating for us (and for you TellStick Net owners, of course)" but that was nearly 3 months ago, I see no time scales given (any would be nice), and therefore hold out little hope. Maybe it will never do what they advertise it will, ...

Re: Update:DIY wireless temperature sensor for Tellstick

So I've managed to get 5 temp/humidity and 4 temp only sensors running up together quite nicely. I'm using lithium 18650 batterys with them and when fully charged they seem to last for ever. Don't think I need many more, well I could always find a home of a couple more temp/humidly sensors. So I thi...

Help needed. Switching 240v ventalation system and Homeeasy

I could do with a bit of advice. I have a ventilation system which takes main powers as a switch for the boost. I wanted to use some Home Easy plugs I had as switches as they work with my existing remotes and Telldus. I wire up plug sockets with Neutral, Live and Earth. Then have the homes easy HE30...
